Dariy Margaritov, chief executive officer of UltraPlay, has indicated that the Bulgaria-based online platform will continue to explore opportunities surrounding the Bitcoin online currency.
The platform, which launched in 2010, started using the cryptocurrency in May.
Margaritov told iGaming Business News that the early evidence of the popularity of its Bitcoin casino Bit777.com had convinced UltraPlay to seek out further opportunities in relation to the online currency.
“Bit777.com, which offers over 50 different games, has processed more than $2 million (€1.5 million) in bets and had more than 4,300 players as of early August,” he said.
“We will be going after the Bitcoin gambling space as well as real money gambling space, and we have managed to close a few major deals that will be announced shortly.”
UltraPlay offers online casino, sportsbook and lottery solutions.
“Regarding future plans for Ultraplay, we are currently releasing a sportsbook and lottery software solution, which has a full range of features such as agents, affiliates and webshop functionality,” Margaritov added.
